Seven Decades of Community Banking
Makkaraparamba Service Co-operative Bank Ltd. began as a producers cum consumers Co-operative Society in 1952. Reformed in 1956 and re-registered in 1966 through the amalgamation of two local societies, it grew into the full-service community institution it is today.
Headquartered in Perinthalmanna Taluk, Malappuram District, Kerala, the bank modernised fully — rolling out Core Banking, Mobile Banking, SMS Banking, NEFT/RTGS/IMPS and more, without ever losing sight of its cooperative roots.
