Miracaine Suspension

Miracaine suspension is a combination medicine used in the treatment of acidity, peptic ulcer, heartburn and associated pain. It helps in relieving the symptoms of acidity and ulcers such as stomach pain or irritation.

Sucralfate 1gm + Oxetacaine 20mg in 10ml suspension.

Take this medicine in empty stomach in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Complete the full course as prescribed to ensure effective treatment.

Sucralfate in Miracaine suspension covers the ulcer tissue in the stomach and protects it from acid or injury to allow healing. Oxetacaine in Miracaine suspension is a local anesthetic whose numbing effect provides fast relief from pain caused due to ulcers or acidic injury in the stomach.

Most side effects of Miracaine suspension do not require any medical attention and disappear or reduce to a negligible level as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or make you feel uneasy. The common side effects include constipation, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, drowsiness and insomnia (Difficulty in sleeping) Every patient need not necessarily experience all or any of these side effects but it helps to be aware of the possibilities. Precautions: • Avoid alcohol as this medicine may cause drowsiness in some people. • Exercise caution while driving a vehicle or operating a machine as this medicine may reduce alertness in some people
