Gerdonil-40 Injection works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach, which in turn relieves symptoms of acid-related disorders and allows sufficient time for healing of the ulcer of stomach and duodenum.

Most side effects of Gerdonil-40 Injection do not require any medical attention and disappear or reduce to a negligible level as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or make you feel uneasy. The common side effects include dry mouth, headache, dizziness, diarrhea, nausea, mild stomach discomfort and thrombophlebitis (pain, redness, and swelling of the vein). Every patient need not necessarily experience all or any of these side effects but it helps to be aware of the possibilities.
