Bionz

Bionz is a medicine used to control nausea and vomiting due to certain medical conditions like stomach upset. It is also used to prevent nausea and vomiting caused due to surgery, cancer drug therapy, or radiotherapy.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Complete the full course as prescribed to ensure effective treatment. If you have been prescribed injection, your doctor or nurse will administer it. Do not self- administer injection.

Ondansetron in Bionz works by blocking the action of a chemical messenger in the brain that causes nausea and vomiting.

Most side effects of Bionz do not require any medical attention and disappear or reduce to a negligible level as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or make you feel uneasy. The common side effects include headache, diarrhea, constipation, and feeling tired. Every patient need not necessarily experience all or any of these side effects but it helps to be aware of the possibilities. Precautions: If you are a lactating mother, breastfeeding should be held until your treatment is completed and the drug is eliminated from your body.

Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, lactating, having liver disease, kidney disease, or any other chronic illness or known allergy to any medicine. Share with him the details of medicines you are currently taking if any. The doctor may want to weigh the benefit against risk of choosing this medicine, and in some cases, adjust its dosage or choose an alternative.
